Talebar Rahman-Brief Life Sketch
Talebar Rahman (1960 —) is an Assamese ideal teacher, active social worker and humanitarian writer. He was born into a poor peasant family in Betbari village of Barepata district in Assam. His father’s name was Kajal Mia and his mother’s name was Ajiran Nesha. Amid financial hardship, he studied up to higher secondary and became a teacher at Kamalpur M. E. School in 1979. However, his interest in higher education led him to pursue an MA in Social Science.
Talebar Rahman, who was interested in writing since his student days, has written several books to date. Some of the books written and published by him are: ‘Adarsh Matsya Pratipalan’, ‘Aranyarodan’ (poetry collection), ‘Anubhuti’ (poetry collection), ‘Hotel Manageror Sakhatkar’ (story collection), and so on. In addition to writing these books, Talebar Rahman has been regularly writing thoughtful articles in various papers and magazines. 0 0 0
