Rathindranath Goswami (1967-) is an Assamese writer. He was born in Jorhat. He graduated from Cotton College in 1987 with a first-class degree in Geology. He started his career by joining the Assam Administrative Service, although, later on, he resigned from the post and joined the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation as a geologist
Rathindranath Goswami has written a number of books. Most of his writings are children’s literature. Some of his books include- ‘Bideshi Bandhur Deshat’, Kankinir Bidruh’, Bigyane Anib Juwar’, ‘Anka, Janka, Panka’, Rathin Mamar Ankar Maja’ etc. He is also well-versed in writing travelogues. His travel books are- Mahasamudrar Sipare, Samudrika, Mumbai Sagarar Simanat Roi, Hriday Sikharar Pratidhani, Ishwarar Upatakya etc.  He has also published a book of short stories under the title ‘Sangram’. He is awarded the ‘Hem Baruah Gold Medal’ for his book Mahasamudrar Sipare’. 0 0 0
