Kulendu Pathak-Brief Life Sketch
Kulendu Pathak is a science writer and researcher. His birthplace is Nagarbera. He joined Cotton College in 1965 as a Professor in the Department of Physics. He held a doctorate from Birmingham University, England, for his research on Nuclear Elementary Particle Science.
He wrote many popular, informative and theoretical essays on various topics such as scientific progress, science education, and environmental issues. His most notable works are ‘Bijnan Aru Sahitya’ (Science and Civilization) (Volumes I and II), and ‘Asomiya Bigyan Sahitya’ (Assamese Science Literature).
Kulendu Pathak was also the head of the Science, Technology and Environment Council of the Government of Assam. He became the Vice-Chancellor of Dibrugarh University in 2002 and retired in 2007. 0 0 0
