Shakespeare (William Shakespeare:1564-1616) was a world-renowned English poet and playwright. Shakespeare was born in Stafford at Avon, England. He had very little formal education, although he learned from real life and wrote 154 sonnets and 37 plays based on that experience. His plays reflect the sentiments and feelings of all classes of people with utmost fidelity. Among his most talked-about plays mention may be made of ‘Hamlet, Julius Cheeser, Macbeth, King Lear’ and ‘Romeo and Juliet’. 0 0 0
