Manika Bhowmik is a Bengali poet, social worker and patron of literature and culture from Barpeta Road in the Barpeta district of Assam.
She was born on January 2, 1968 in Koch Bihar, West Bengal. Her father’s name was Dhirendra Choudhury and her mother’s name was Usharani Choudhury.
She was married to Manik Lal Bhowmik, a poet, novelist, translator, humanitarian, social worker and patron of literature and culture at Barpeta Road, Assam.
Manika Bhowmik likes writing activities and occasionally writes poetry and articles to various magazines. Already she has published two poetry books, as ‘Prayas’ and ‘Jeevanato Ekatai’ (Bengali). Her poems depict the lost memory, romance, the noise of mechanical civilization, the depravity of humanity etc. 0 0 0
