Chilaray was the younger brother of Maharaja Naranarayana, king of the Koch kingdom. His original name was Shukladhaj. Naranarayana made him the chief general of his kingdom. Chilaray could attack the enemy as swiftly as a kite. So Shukladhaj was called ‘Chilaray’ (kite prince). 0 0 0
