According to Indian Sanskrit mythology, Baman was the fifth incarnation of Vishnu. Vishnu assumed this incarnation in the form of a dwarf. He came to the great ritual feast of Bali the demon king and asked for a piece of land to keep his three footsteps. Bali agreed and then Baman put his right foot on the earth and his left foot on the underworld but found no place to put his third foot. Then Bali put forward his head and Baman put his third step on the head of Bali. Thus he destroyed the arrogance of Bali the Demon king. 0 0 0
