Abdus Sattar (1922-1987) is an Assamese thinker, prose writer and educator. He was born in Titabar. Although he was a professional teacher, he established himself with his thoughtful writings as a proficient prose writer in Assamese. The books he wrote include ‘Krishna Kanta Sandikair Jirani’, ‘Prasanga Kosh’, ‘Sammisranat Asomiya Sanskriti, Drishti Aru Shristi, Udriti Sahachar etc. Each of his books is of superior quality. Abdus Sattar was also the secretary of Assam Sahitya Sabha. 0 0 0
