Wilson MacDonald (1880-1962) was a Canadian poet, writer, and journalist. He was born on April 26, 1880, in Clinton, Ontario, Canada, and grew up in a rural environment. MacDonald was known for his patriotic and romantic poems that celebrated the beauty of Canada and its people.
MacDonald’s passion for poetry began at a young age, and he began writing and publishing his own poems while still in his teens.
