Valmiki-Brief Life Sketch
Valmiki was a sage and Sanskrit epic poet. He wrote the epic ‘Ramayana’. He was originally a robber by the name of Ratnakar. But one day Ratnakar happened to hear the pathetic cry of a bird wounded by a hunter with an arrow.
