Pierre Elliott Trudeau was a Canadian politician who served as the 15th Prime Minister of Canada from 1968 to 1979 and again from 1980 to 1984. He was born on October 18, 1919 in Montreal, Quebec, and passed away on September 28, 2000.
Trudeau was educated at the Jesuit Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf and the Université de Montréal, where he studied law and economics. After graduation, he worked as a lawyer and became involved in politics as a member of the Liberal Party of Canada.
In 1968, Trudeau became the Prime Minister of Canada and was known for his charismatic personality and leadership style. During his time in office, he implemented several important policies, including the adoption of a new constitution in 1982 that included the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
