Sk Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah was the Emir of Kuwait and the leader of the country from 2006 until his death in 2020. He was born in Kuwait on June 16, 1929 and was the fifth Emir of Kuwait.

Sheikh Sabah was known for his diplomatic skills and was widely respected in the international community. He was instrumental in resolving regional and international conflicts and was a strong advocate for peace and stability in the Middle East. Under his leadership, Kuwait became a mediator and facilitator in resolving regional disputes and hosted numerous international conferences and meetings aimed at promoting peace and stability in the region.

One of his major achievements as the Emir of Kuwait was his role in the Gulf War. He played a crucial role in the liberation of Kuwait in 1991, and his leadership was instrumental in the rebuilding and modernization of the country after the war. He was also known for his efforts in promoting human rights and democracy in the Arab world and was a strong advocate for women’s rights and education.

Sk Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah was also known for his philanthropy and his efforts to improve the lives of people in need around the world. He established the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, which provided financial and technical assistance to developing countries and helped to improve the lives of millions of people in the region.

Throughout his reign as the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah received numerous honors and awards for his contributions to the region and the world. He was awarded the Order of Abdulaziz Al Saud, the highest civilian honor in Saudi Arabia, and was also awarded the Grand Collar of the Order of the Republic of Iraq.

Sheikh Sabah passed away on September 29, 2020, and was mourned by people from all around the world.
