2nd Love Letter to Liza

My Dearest Liza,
The second day of our love story unfolded with the sweet serendipity that only life can bestow. It was a morning painted with the hues of possibility, as the west wind whispered secrets and the sky, transparent and endless, stretched above us. The sun, resplendent with glory, cast its golden rays upon the world, illuminating your path as you graced it with your presence.
Our encounter took place while you were accompanied by your mother, perhaps embarking on an errand to the market or visiting one of your beloved relatives. Clad in a beautiful blue gown adorned with delicate florals, you moved with a grace that mirrored that of a nymph, leaving behind a trail of enchantment in your wake.
Oh, Liza, your eyes were adorned with a black hue, reminiscent of the depths of a stormy cloud. Your hair danced in the wind, as if it, too, was captivated by the mesmerizing rhythm of your footsteps. I found myself drawn to you, compelled to follow in your wake, captivated by your ethereal beauty.
As I trailed behind you, my gaze fixed upon your back, I marveled at the creation that you were, a being so divinely crafted by God. I offered my gratitude to the heavens for bestowing such a wondrous presence upon this earth. Though you seemed otherworldly, your feet kissed the ground, and you walked amongst us mortals. I couldn’t help but be overwhelmed with awe.
Alas, my beloved, my timid heart held me captive in the cage of my own hesitations. Though my eyes spoke volumes, you never cast a glance in my direction. In the depths of my longing, I lost myself in a tapestry of imagination, where our souls danced together in a symphony of unspoken words.
That day, I willingly forfeited my college duties, for how could I focus on the mundane when your presence had stirred a tempest of emotions within me? But, alas, my timidity held me back, preventing the words I yearned to speak from escaping my lips. Oh, the wretchedness of my hesitations!
Yet, fear not, my love, for with each passing moment, my resolve strengthens. I vow to overcome my inhibitions and seize the fleeting chances that life presents us. The tapestry of our love is still being woven, and I shall not let this chapter go unfinished.
Until that moment arrives, my dear Liza, carry with you the knowledge that my heart beats for you, that your presence has ignited a fire within me that refuses to be extinguished. I cherish the memory of that day, where our paths briefly crossed, and I am determined to create countless more moments that intertwine our lives.
With all the love my heart can hold,
M M.
