An Excursion Trip to Shillong
We, the students of Class XI, are arranging an excursion trip to Shillong. The trip is for two days. We have already contracted an Omnibus to carry us there. The bus will arrive at our college campus at 6 a.m. and our journey would start at 7. a. m. on 21st April. From our college at Barpeta Road, the bus will take about 7 hours to reach the capital of Shillong. There in the hotel called Bomer, we would take our dinner and then we will start straight to Cherapunji and Mawsynram, famous for the highest rainfall. Then we will visit the museum of Shillong and see the arts and culture of the state. We have already booked 70 seats in two hotels near the Capital Lodge to spend the night. The next day, we will go sightseeing in and around Shillong. We have also planned to visit a village to see the way of their rustic life. After that, we will start our return journey. 0 0 0
